Mid-Season Break

We’ve now reached the mid-season break and i think everyone has deserved 2 weeks off, with both our Honours teams sitting well, in 2nd place. Our Div 1 and Div 2 teams have got some work to do in the second half of the season, to push back up the ladder. Games start again on the 18th of July.

Although it’s not rest for everyone, next week sees the Victorian representatives heading up to Brisbane for the Annual Australian Junior Volleyball Championships. They will take on teams from NSW, QLD, WA, SA, ACT, TAS and a couple of teams from our neighbours across the Tasman, New Zealand. Good luck to all those athletes heading over, and we hope you can bring home the cup for the Vics.

For everyone else, enjoy your rest time, and we’ll see you back for Round 10!

Mid-Season Social Function Ideas

Falcons BBQThe time is coming for the Falcons mid-season social event and the committee have ideas of what to do but we would like our members input.

The date of the event is undecided yet but we will try to work out a good time for everyone. The event will also be for the WAGMADBAH’s too (Wives and Girlfriends, Mums and Dads, Boyfriends and Husbands).

So have a vote in the poll midway down the page on the right for what you want to do. You can also suggest new ideas by selecting “other” and writing your idea in the field.
