The Falcons Volleyball Club now has a new domain! The new site is falconsvc.com.au
The site can still be found by going to falconsvolleyball.wordpress.com or falconsvc.com but they will both redirect you to falconsvc.com.au
This change is along with our new interactive site for a revamped club! So change your bookmarks and keep enjoying all that we have to offer, and join in whenever you feel like it!

The first round of State League showed some pretty positive results from the Women’s teams and some improvement needed from the Men’s teams.

State League Starts Tomorrow!!!
As the countdown on the right hand side says, there is only 1 day left until state league!!!
Good luck to all teams playing. If anyone needs to find out when any of our teams are playing, have a look at the 2009 State League Draw page (link in the top right corner). It will be great to see everyone supporting each other this year, now that we have entered 6 teams into the competition!

No Junior Development Training on School Holidays
There will be no Junior Training next Tuesday night (14th April) as it is the school holidays.
Training will continue as normal the following week.

Melbourne Falcons Men’s Honours tournament report
A new look Melbourne Falcons Men’s Honours team completed in the 2009 Vic Champs at Dandenong on the Weekend. Congratulations to Dylan Ryan, Matthew Radcliffe, Jess Cameron-Wooton and Cam Brown for playing their first games with the Melbourne Falcons Men’s Honours Team. Darren Wheatley is back after a 2 year break.
The boys took an overall record of 2-3 into the 3rd V 4th Playoff on Sunday afternoon and unfortunately went down to Eastside Hawks. Finishing 4th, on paper, sounds disappointing however it was a very valuable weekend for the new look group. The team will definitely improve a lot during the bump and grind of the (more…)
