Stats for the Mens Games:

Div 1

  • Well done to David Fletcher for notching up 19 kills and a block to end up with 20 points for the game, while gaining form in the last set with 5 perfect passes to finish with a rating of 2.1.
  • Jarvis Mellor was strong at the net with 3 blocks, 9 kills at a kill efficiency of 53% and 1 ace.
  • Dan Plowman made the most of the sets given to him, with 7 kills at a KE of 42%.

Honours

  • Dave Delaland produced a quality serving game, notching up 8 aces for the game with a KE of 21.7%. This included 3 aces in a row in the first set, followed up by a forced overpass which Brooksy put away (sorry i only got footage of the 4th serve). This, accompanied with 12 attack kills finished off his game with a team high 21 points.
  • Jess Cameron-Wooten proved he’s dominant in the middle with 10 kills at a KE of 75% supported by 4 blocks.
  • Stephen Brooks was solid as always, with 17 kills at 45% KE, 1 block and a pass rating of 2.67.

  1. Great work by the boys to be the only team in Honours to have beaten each team in the league.

    Also well done to Dunny stepping up and performing a good setting game. Good luck for World Uni Games next week!!

  4. Dunny is playing Libero at the University Games!!! He went to the week long training camp before the tournament thinking he was going to be a setter!

    • hmmm yeah from what i’m reading, Nick G’R and a ‘Luke Hunyadi’ are doing most of the setting.
      After 3 games, Dunny has receiving stats of 43 “Excellents” from 81 attempts. Anyone able to educate me on how the stats work? :P
