Just a reminder to all the senior men that Thursday night trainings have been moved to Kew High School from 8pm to 10pm.

State League Round 1 Results

The first round of State League bore some great results for the Honours and Div 1 teams, losing only 1 set between them, while the D 2 teams fought well but were unable to come up with the wins.

Saturday night also saw a great success for our 2010 Trivia Night hosted by the Mens program. With a great turnout and participation, the club was able to raise some great funds and provide an entertaining night for all (especially the lucky lady who bought the signed Demons jumper and would be celebrating a great win today; Go Dees!). We would like to thank everyone for coming and also for their great support for the club! We are all looking forward to the next social event and hope to see you all there. Judging by the response to the Lawn Bowls Challenge, this looks to be the way to go!

2010 Crazy Johns Victorian State League Draw Released!

The draw for this years VVL competition has been released, and can be found here: http://vvl.org.au/

The draw is complete for for Honours and Division 1, but Division 2 still needs some work and will be available soon.

Volleyball Victoria has introduced the concept of blockbuster games. During rounds 1, 3, 5, 8, 10, 12, 14, the 12pm WH & 2pm MH games on Court 1 will be showcased with commentator, music, etc. The draw has also been done so that the teams playing each other in those games are the same. This means that, where clubs have teams in all divisions, they’ll find all their teams playing against each other in a single round.

Our first blockbuster game is round 3 versus Heidelberg.
